Week 8 – Total Elimination Diet

Last week was so frustrating and disheartening for me with Baby O reacting to two reintroductions in a row.  After the second reintroduction failure, I decided to just stop everything I had started and just keep moving forward.  I also decided that I will try to add single ingredient items instead of multiple ingredients (like the Smokehouse seasoning and the Teavana Tea had).  Obviously, there are times when this isn’t possible, but I’ll do my best to be patient and try.

MONDAY
Breakfast – Bowl of NEW crunchy rice cereal, 1 pear
Lunch – Leftover One Skillet Creamy Turkey Pasta
Dinner – Turkey & Rice Bake

TUESDAY
Breakfast – Bowl of NEW crunchy rice cereal, 1 pear
Lunch – Leftover Turkey & Rice Bake
Dinner – Turkey Nuggets & French Fries

WEDNESDAY
Breakfast – Bowl of NEW crunchy rice cereal, 1 pear
Lunch – Leftover Turkey & Rice Bake
Dinner – Blueberry & Cucumber Salad
Introduction – Lettuce, Blueberries, Cucumber

THURSDAY
Breakfast – Bowl of NEW crunchy rice cereal, 1 pear
Lunch – Blueberry & Cucumber Salad
Dinner – Grilled turkey breast, grilled sweet potatoes

FRIDAY
Breakfast – Bowl of NEW crunchy rice cereal, 1 pear
Lunch – Baked turkey breast and Roasted Potatoes with parsley
Dinner – Blueberry & Cucumber Salad

SATURDAY
Breakfast – Sunbutter Bar
Lunch – Grilled Turkey with rosemary, Rice, Sunbutter Bar
Dinner – Turkey Burgers with flax and parsley, rice, Sunbutter Bar
Introduction – Sunflower Butter, Flax, Honey

SUNDAY
Breakfast – Bowl of NEW crunchy rice cereal, 1 pear, Sunbutter Bar
Lunch – Blueberry & Cucumber Salad, 1 pear, Sunbutter Bar
Dinner – Turkey Burgers with flax and parsley, rice, Sunbutter Bar

NOTES:
1) Baby O showed no sensitivities this week to the reintroduced foods! YAY!!!
2) Now that I’m eating more types of food I want to snack ALL. THE. TIME.  I keep finding myself going back to the fridge for more blueberries (can you overdose on blueberries?) or a spoonful of sunflower butter. I’m going to have to start watching it or I’ll gain one thousand pounds during this reintroduction phase.
